In March 2011, I wrote an article outlining an interesting phenomenon I observed with PageRank distribution in a controlled test environment.
Linked to a number of similar instances it made me believe that there is an element of randomness in much of what Google does in search.
Unusually Fresh PageRank Update in August 2012
Googles toolbar PageRank (TBPR) values were released to public in August this year, but with much fresher snapshot date than we remember.
PageRank value is always a historic figure showing real-time PageRank score of a page at the time when the snapshot was taken.
